Association Internationale des Études Arméniennes (AIEA) is a scholarly association that promotes Armenian Studies and brings together scholars from all over world. One of its main venues for sharing most recent scholarship, discoveries and on-going projects is the AIEA General Conference that takes place every three years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the XV General Conference took place, finally, in 2021 and still on-line, organised by the Martin Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg (Germany). The Principal Investigator of the ArmEn Project Prof. Zara Pogossian gave a general presentation of the Project ArmEn, its on-going and planned research activities and the innovative aspects of the project. She emphasized the importance of exploring a connected history of medieval Armenia as way towards a more complex study of this period and region, with numerous new research possibilities, some of which have been and will be undertaking within the project ArmEn by herself and the team members.
